Colours of OSTRAVA | Day 1
Krásný středeční večer! Už jsme v polovině týdne a to znamená, že mi zbývá pouhých 14 hodin práce a pak opět nastupují prázdniny. Dneska jsem se konečně dokopala k sestříhání alespoň části videí, které mám právě z Colours of Ostrava a hned k tomu napíšu i článek.
Beautiful Wednesday evening! We are already in the middle of the week and that means I have only 14 hours at work and then taken up holidays again. Today I finally edited a least part of the videos that I filmed at the Colours of Ostrava and also to write an article.
Samozřejmě jsme se s Leou (se kterou jsem na festival vyrazila jako každý rok) špatně pochopily, a tak když jsem dojížděla k Dolní oblasti Vítkovic, kde se Colours konají, tak mi přišla smska s informací, že Lea právě vylezla ze sprchy. Takže jsem se rozhodla, že už nepojedu zpět domů, ale pro svoji kamarádku si pěkně dojedu. Už když jsme přijížděli na festival, tak začínalo trošku poprchávat, takže jsme si zalezly do Světa techniky, kde se zrovna konala výstava České televize a tam jsme zakotvily tak na hodinku. Odtud jsme se přemístily zase na další suché stanoviště, ale jen na půl hodinky, jelikož jsme pak měli v plánu si koupit krásné coloursovské kelímky.
Of course, we Lea and me (which I headed out to the festival, as every year) misunderstood, and so when I commuted to the Dolní Vítkovice, where Colours take place, I got a sms with information that Leah was out of the shower. So I decided that I will not go back home, but to my friend. When we arrived at the festival, began to rain a little bit, so we crept into the World of Technology, where just held an exhibition of Czech Television, where we anchored and watch. From there we moved again to another dry place, but only for half an hour, because then we had planned to buy a beautiful colours cups.
Po cestě za kelímky nás samozřejmě zastihla ta největší bouřka, slejvák, no prostě padaly trakaře a my se schovaly do Radegast stanu, kde se to asi po 20 minutách začínalo pěkně zaplňovat a všude po zemi byla voda.
On the way to cups, of course, we caught the biggest storm, rained cats and dogs so we hid in Radegast tent, where it's about 20 minutes to fill up nicely and then there was water all over the ground.
Pak už jsme se konečně dostaly ke stánku, koupily si naše vysněné kelímky a vydaly se na první koncert -Treacherous Orchestra. A to vám řeknu, že jsem teda nečekala takovou bombu. Opravdu mě to dostalo. Celkově mám moc ráda instrumentální hudbnu, ale tato skotská verze mě velmi, ale velmi zaujala (co si budeme nalhávat, zaujal mě i jeden člen "kapely").
Then we finally came to the booth and bought our dream cups and embarked on the first concert -Treacherous Orchestra. And let me tell you that it was AWESOME. Indeed it got me. Overall, I love instrumental music, but the Scottish version was epic, I was very interested in (what do we fool ourselves, One member of the 'band' attracted me a lot).
Hned potom jsme se vydaly na koncert Nothing But Thieves, kteří nás také velmi mile překvapily. Skvělý koncert, takže pokud jste je ještě neměli možnost slyšet, tak si je určitě pusťtě.
Right after that we went to the concert Nothing But Thieves and we were very pleasantly surprised. Great concert, so if you have not had the opportunity to listen to it, be sure to fasting.
Pak jsme se rozhodly zajít se trošku ohřát a odpočinou před posledním koncertem večera, který nás ještě ten den čekal.
Then we decided to go a little warm up and relax before the last concert of the night, which we still waiting for that day.

Počasí jsme trošku podcenily a já osobně docela dost mrzla, ale na další dny jsem si to už pojistila a vypadala jako tučńák na Severním pólu. A teď už šup na poslední koncert, který jsme ten den viděli a to M83. O této kapele jsem do té doby neslyšela, ale překvapivě jsem se prvního dne nedočkala žádného hudebního zklamání a domů jela skvěle naladěná a naprosto unavená s tím, že druhý den ráno vstávám do práce.
We forecast slightly underestimated and I personally was freezing, but on other days I get it already insured and looked like penguins at the North Pole. Now chop the last concert we saw that day - M83. About this band I'd never heard, but surprisingly I did not have the first day any music disappointment and went home perfectly tuned and totally tired that next morning I got up for work.
